I created a book that had to do with counting. I had so problems figuring it out, but once I figured it out it was fun. I feel that this would be fun for a class to create a book and share it with others.

This is the book I created! It was fun, and I hope you all enjoy. I enjoyed using this site and I think young students would find value in it also, they love to use their imaginations and create works of thier own. This book is about my son's 3rd birthday we just celebrated on the 25th of October. It is told from the perspective of a little girl who attended his party.

Big Universe- I liked big universe overall and was really able to see the educational value mainly because it could be integrated into ANY subject and is a great technology integration. I think that it is a great oppertunity for teachers and students alike to create a book to help get their point across. I am a semi-creative person but I felt that sometimes I would get caught up in the frusteration of when I would drag my mouse and what I was trying to move wouldn't move, I'm just not a patient person and I felt that the slowness stifeled my creativity. I really liked the program though and just like any site, the more time you spend the better you get. This is the first book, really rough..... But it is for my mom.

This was alot of fun creating a book. There are soo many possiblilties to making a book. I know I will be using this in the classroom. They will really enjoy making a book that they can call there own :D

I really enjoyed this website and had fun making books on it. This is a site that I will definitely use in the classroom and with my two children. Children would get so excited about writing their own book and have it shared with anyone. Having the books published on the site is great because family and friends could access their book even if they don't live close to them.

I made two books, one for each of my sons. I am already planning on making several others because my three year old loves this site! I was not able to upload my own pictures to the site, so I hope to figure that out soon because I know he would love to see himself in a book!

This was really cool. This is something that when I get more time would love to go in and be more creative and spend more time. Children would love this, and it would make a neat class project to do also.

Here is my book I created on Big Universe. I was a pretty cool website. The actual act of creating the book once was not too hard and was a fun when I was finding pictures that went along with my story. The hardest part I had was coming up with the idea.

I had so much fun creating this book! My 6 year old son has been talking about a 'blue duck' lately...so this gave me an idea for the subject of the book. With some brainstorming, our family was able to come up with the storybook titled "The Blue Duck Goes to School". This is a project I know my class would enjoy taking part in!

I love to write children books and illustate them. I want to use a book I wrote a few months agp called "The Adentures of Natrox", I hope this will work for my garde as well .I have it listed on my webpage. I have had fun doing the different projects and used them during my student teaching this fall. I also learned to use the Intelli-board more in the classroom nd wondered why more teachers don't include more technology in their classes and lesson plans. My Book is on a different site:

This is Pat Greer, and I was wondering how you actvate the Big Universe site. I have two new books that I would enetr but my acccount won't let me activate either. Also do you know when you will enter my grade for Fall 2007 from an incomplete to a grade. I have to have it changed in order to graduate this spring. I did complete my student teaching and Elementary Education this fall and I am awaiting the reply from an elementary school for teaching Title I this spring. Can you e-mail me either at [e-mail] or [e-mail] and let me know. I am so hlad I took this semesrer with you and learn all this updated information to use in a classroom. I am used many things as a student teacher and love doing this with my student. I am looking forward to using the Big Universe site for reading in my Title I classes.
