Cyndi:

I added my ToonDoo by adding a video. I embedded the code and uploaded it. It is listed under videos.

\Verb-toondoo\

I chose to make this to show that English can be fun and to show what a verb is... Also, it was simple enough to have them make their own if they wanted. I liked making it, so I hope that my students could find some educational value from it...

I chose the simplest way of trying out this site. I doubt that I'll ever use it in the classroom. I live in SW Kansas and not much hope to go all technology anytime soon. We have very, very limited access to internet in school grounds so.

What a neat site! I really enjoyed doing this assignment and feel it will be a great tool to use in my classroom!

When I loaded my comic strip it was a little small and blurry, so I attached it as a file. Just click on the link, and hopefully you will be able to see it. Let me know if you can't see it.

I had a hard time figuring out what to make my cartoon about. I had a hard time getting the balloons to point to the right instead of the left. Also, I could not figure out how to make my characters be in a different position. I would have to have a lot of coaching and practice before I would feel comfortable using this site in my classroom!
I am not sure how to save this cartoon to my documents, so you should be able to get to it by clicking on this link: http://www.toondoo.com/View.toon?param=373038

I am not for sure how to save my cartoon to my computer so that I can post it here. I enjoyed making the cartoon and think that it would be fun to use some cartoons as a learning opportunity. I chose to use predicates because in the classroom I help in the students are not understanding what a predicate is. I thought that this might help.

I chose to make mine about predicates because the class is having a hard time learning what they are. I thought this would help them out. I enjoyed making this cartoon and I am going to try to use it in my classroom.

\Card Catalogs\

I chose to create a toon surrounding the card catalog and computers. What a fun site, I think this would be fun to use in the classroom during center time. You could ask your students to create stories with vocab words used during the week.

I created my ToonDoo to either introduce Career Day to students or to just explain how important school is. This was a very neat assignment and this is something I want to share with my students. Students can use ToonDoos in class to learn about any topic.

Here's my attempt at a cartoon. I had no trouble using toondoo and figuring out how to move characters, etc. I had a hard time thinking up what to say. I can see how some students would think this was awesome, but it was difficult for me. My brain doesn't do cartoons.

I had fun making this toondoo, found it kinda of hard to move the text bubbles soo they are pointing the right way, but other then that I had fun making it. How I want to incorrporate this in my classroom is have them each make a cartoon based off a lesson I taught then and then put them all in a book and make a toon doo classroom book that they each can have. It was fun and I know the children will love this
Im not sure if im doing this right on how to get the cartoon uploaded on the website sorry for all this mess

I have never heard of this site and so the first few times I tried to do a strip, I have to admit I failed miserably. I definitely think I would use this with a classroom. It would be a wonderful way for the students to use their creativity for such things as the first few days of school. Once you have determined your classroom rules, wouldn't it be fun to have them make a cartoon about it? We as teacher could see if they understand the rule and when and where it pertains to something.
Well here is the link to mine. I selected to do a cartoon on cell phones. Students are Supposed to leave them in their lockers but we know that rarely happens. Well here it is
