Hi Wesley, I am in the FHSU Instructional Tech class and recently listened to your podcast "Imagineering the Ideal K-6 Classroom..." I found it to be a great teaching resource full of good, strong points! I am in my first year of teaching and can't agree with you more on your comments about how we stress so much on the curriculum rather than the students. We definitely need to incorporate more of the students' interests around the curriculum! I will definitely continue to follow you throughout your future podcasts!
Wes, I have followed your recent transition, and I am interested in seeing what comes of the new position. I'm interested because I was born in Stillwater, with roots from the early days. My mother took us to every nook and cranny of the state over the years we lived there. It was a marvelous childhood.
Doing well. Have discovered that technology is a bit behind at KSU, although they are working hard to catch up. I would love for you to do a video conference with my class or if you plan on being in Manhattan to see you folks, I would love you to guest speak in my class. If that's a possibility, let me know. I am in Bluemont and this place needs you too......
Thank you for joining and contributing to my class this semester, it really makes a difference for my students to hear from real classroom teachers. thanks to you!!
